Specifically, I would like to correct the use of "too corrupt". Pharmaceutical companies should be allowed to correct misinformation if they so choose. There are plenty of Wikipedia editors that will review/dispute any edits made by those companies. Just one clarificatio...Great and timely post, John. Just one clarification from my end. WikiCorrect, the IMS service/product does not edit Wikipedia directly. We first validate the edits provided by our pharma clients for "fair balance" and communicate them via the talk page to page admins (based on FDA guidelines). The page admins then make the corrections(or require additional details).. So far, the admins have been very co-operative with our approach. The pharmaceutical industry is too corrupt to be allowed direct access to Wikipedia. The FDA has been captured by the industry it regulates, i.e., regulatory capture.
